Monday

Great start to a new school – we were late! There was a big accident at the bus stop, some girl got run over. I didn’t really see what happened, I was busy tying up my bootlace when it all kicked off. I tried to go and help, but Nicole (the dough-baked girl I have to live with) pushed me back and told me to stay out of it. Afterwards, two boys at the bus stop had a fight, because one of them (very posh voice) said he thought the other one had pushed the girl into the road. Pretty interesting start to the week.

Wednesday

School is crap and the teachers are all mugwumps. I got a mobile off one of the First Years today and called Chris – we arranged to meet at the Crab tonight. I got into Nicole’s room and had a look at her clothes – pretty boring, but there was one black dress I thought would look good. I was giving a twirl in front of the mirror when she walked in. Talk about freezing me out! Didn’t matter. I had a good night with Chris, although as usual he wanted me back in his room giving him what he wants, which I won’t do. I know everyone looks at me and thinks I’ve been there and done it all, but I haven’t.

Friday

Nicole really hates me. Big surprise. She spent most of the day walking their poncy little dog just to avoid me. Suits me. I have one try at being friendly with people, and if that doesn’t work, they can get stuffed. Spoke to the posh boy at the bus stop today. His name’s Edward. Surprisingly, he seems okay. He asked me if I knew whether the girl in the accident was OK. I said I didn’t know. I caught Nicole glaring at me so I shut up.

Saturday

Told Smarmy Sue (foster mum) I was meeting girls from school for a night out at the pictures and met Chris. Not a good evening. All he wanted to do was get me back to his place for sex. I told him I would, but not yet. He asked me why, and I gave him a line about wanting it all to be perfect – satin sheets, a nice hotel, all that. I don’t know how much longer I can keep putting him off. He’s starting to get really angry. I don’t want him to chuck me – he’s all I’ve got.
