Monday
I can’t stop thinking about what Nicole said. She has to be a nutter or something. She must have made it all up, I don’t remember her…
Later
I just got back from work. Let’s just say I don’t have to wait until after Christmas to get away from that place. I just got the sack. Yep, can you believe it! I had Nicole on my mind all day, what she said. I think about how I was back then. I was out of control, drinking too much,

On Friday night I ended up giving Harley a ring. To be honest I really wasn’t interested in going out with the guys and I knew it would end in some sort of trouble. When they came to the door, I said that I didn’t feel up to it. Gaz was angry and stalked off. Hopefully they’ll be ok with me next time I see them, but I wouldn’t guarantee it… Anyway, Harley and me decided to start off at Liquid Club first, then see where we ended up; but in the

Last night Lucas and me had a big catch-up on everything. We talked about life in the army. He said everything was fine - he’s on leave for the funeral, but he seemed distant about when he’s leaving and quickly changed the subject. I told him about Louise and visiting the hospital and how I had decided to be a nurse. He said there were nursing jobs in the army and they would pay for my training if I signed up.
We walked in the park, and unfortunately

I got to the bus stop this morning and found that over the weekend someone had scrawled, ‘I HATE MY LIFE’ all over the bus stop. I don’t know who it was, but I kinda relate to them. I hate my life too.
I really do hate my job. The boss is a total khyber pass and it seems so pointless now that I’ve thought about nursing. It’s so boring compared to how exciting nursing could be.
I went to the gym after work. I saw Harley there. We got

I have made a decision. I have to change my life. After last week and the TWOCing of the car and smashing the gift shop window, I realise that my life is tomtit. Edward was at the bus stop today and I tried to talk to him but he snubbed me. I felt hurt, but I can’t really blame him after what happened. Harley was there as well. I asked him what he was doing at the hospital last week, but he seemed to change the subject pretty quick, going on about how someone had

I haven’t left my room for the last two days. I just can’t believe that Gran is dead. She wasn’t even ill. She was going to come and visit us next year. I wish I could have gone to the funeral. Mum is going to go but I’m not, mum thinks I won’t cope. She is going to be there for two weeks because of the Nine-Nights ceremony, which is the Jamaican tradition, like an extended wake.
I’ve had a text. An invite to a party -

Jez and the others haven’t been near me all weekend. I keep wondering how Edward is. I ran back after the others had gone to make sure he was OK. He was lying on the ground, so I helped him up, but then I hurried away. I was too bageld to speak. When I went to catch the bus this morning I saw him. I felt awkward and didn’t know what to say. I felt ashamed to be there and not say anything after what had happened; but it didn’t matter because the bus soon

Yesterday I saw the sporty-looking guy from the bus stop at the Sports Centre. I didn’t say anything to him, what could I say?
My mum’s mate Linda came round today to talk about her campaign to get a crossing near bus stop 39. Before now I’d always teased her, but after that girl’s accident I kinda see her point. She was in the papers today, splashed all over the front page, it said all about the accident. Her name is Louise and she’s

Today has been one disaster after another! For starters, the bus was late again so I thought I was going to get the sack. Then as I was waiting someone was hit by a car! Then there was chaos! Cars were all stopping, building up in the road, everyone was shouting and blaming others and the girl was motionless in the road. Some guy in a tracksuit went into the road followed by a man in a bright tie that took over and got everyone to stand back. I
