Monday
The school concert is coming up, I am so worried, I’ve been practising like a maniac, but I don’t know why, really -  Mum and Dad aren’t coming, but I guess I should have expected it. Mum being too drunk to care and Dad being away and all. Now off to sleep as I haven’t got much else to say.
Tuesday
Today I went for a walk to the beach, and aren’t I glad I went! I was just sitting on the shingle making a small Mount Etna

Monday
Mum is such an embarrassment to me. I know that I should love her really, and it makes me feel terrible when I say bad things about her. But it’s true. She is a drunk and she does embarrass me. Today, she fell down the steps of the mobile library van in a drunken stupor clutching an array of colourful children’s books. I don’t know what the librarians must have thought. She humiliates me all the time and it’s not fair. Anyway, I think she sprained

Monday
Today I went to the library to get some leaflets on alcoholism to give to dad to give mum. I didn’t want anyone to see me there, but guess what? JERMAINE OF ALL PEOPLE! Was in the LIBRARY! Looking for books on cooking chips, maybe...?! Firstly I was shocked, but then I thought it cast a new light on him. He approached me. I was quite scared; I thought he was going to hit me! But all he wanted to do was shake my hand and apologise. In the end we made up and started

Monday
I saw the graffiti on the bus stop today, what an eyesore! Everyone was moaning about the fact that it makes the place look trashy, I have to agree with them to avoid becoming an outcast; but really I do agree with it. (I hate my life too…) Nicole hasn’t really been interested in me lately, and I feel disappointed and let down. I give up! Harley can have her for all I care.
Tuesday
I visited the hospital today and Louise was slowly getting

Saturday
A rubbish week, what with Bernard dying and the stuff going on with Luna. I tried speaking to my Dad about it, but he wouldn’t listen. So I thought I’d talk to you again, as my only escape from the misery I’m feeling. So yeah, Dad wasn’t prepared to listen to me earlier. He persuaded me to play chess with him. I lost, but my mind was on other things.
Monday
At the bus stop, Rachel ignored me completely.  Meanwhile Jermaine

Friday
Yesterday one of the girls at the bus stop asked if I wanted to go to a party this evening. I did not take up her offer, only now after my 'wonderful' day at school I think I may go. I wish you could understand – alright, I have my bad qualities, but there is no reason to isolate me! No one, I mean NO ONE spoke to me today, even Bernard skulked away this morning. So I am going to the party. At least Rachel (Luna) likes me, or so it seems.

Saturday
I decided to go out with Jermaine and his mates, leaving Bernard sulking in his basket – he really hasn’t been acting normally recently. I found Jermaine and the others hanging around at the bus stop smoking, but I refused, as I only do it when I feel stressed.
One of them came behind me and grabbed my hair. They took my phone and wallet, and were mimicking my distress. They were calling me ‘posh nosh’, and one swung at me and made my nose

Sunday
It was a pleasant evening so I took Bernard for a walk on the beach. He seems to have slowed down a bit. Didn’t rush into the water after sticks like he usually does.  I had a fag. I don’t smoke really, but sometimes the stress gets to me. I listened to Sofa King High on my new IPod. Dad tries to buy my love by fobbing me off with expensive gifts left right and centre, but I can see right through him.
I sat and watched the sun set over the sea, when

Today has been a very hectic day, worse than normal. The cut above my eye seems to be very swollen. I can’t believe that thug! How dare he hit me, it was definitely him who pushed that girl at the bus stop! I think his name is Harley, what an ignorant name! He’s so big-headed, flexing his muscles, showing off to the girls. Couldn’t he see that the pretty blonde girl wasn’t interested? It was when I was looking at her that there was a huge crash.
