Jason Daniels is one of my FE students at the Nelson Special School, Kingsmouth. Jason is 16 and has learning difficulties, but is mobile and physically active. He's a cheerful boy, fond of his mum and very proud of his brother Harley, who is a footballer.
Jason uses a computer programme called Widgit - Writing with Symbols, when we do work which involves writing. It is a system that can produce pictures to match the words that a student inputs. This helps students to
